Help with the app
Accessibility in getriff
getriff is in development. This page explains options in test versions and how to report something that makes the app difficult to use. Availability may differ in your installed version.
Options on iPhone
- Appearance: choose light, dark or your device’s appearance in the app’s settings.
- Text: the app uses your iPhone’s text size. We are still checking larger-text layouts across all flows.
- Motion: Reduce motion keeps the workout circle still and shows timing in text. Your device’s motion preference also applies.
- Sound and touch: pace sounds and haptic feedback have separate controls.
- Manual entry: use the reps, load and effort fields to record a set. Speaking is optional; when voice entry is available, you can correct the values before explicitly recording them.
What we are still checking
We have not completed a full review of VoiceOver, Voice Control, larger text and use on real devices across every workout flow. Some combinations of settings, devices and features may still present barriers.
Apple Watch accessibility is being assessed separately. The iPhone options above do not establish the same support on Watch. This page does not claim support for every accessibility feature.
Having difficulty?
Email us with what you were trying to do and what prevented you from continuing. If possible, include the app version, device model, system version and accessibility feature you were using.
Report an accessibility barrier
Please leave out passwords, payment details and private health information. If you attach an image or recording, hide personal information that is not needed to explain the barrier.
